Monster Energy Kawasaki's Timmy Ferry underwent successful surgery on his right heel Saturday morning. Red Dog fractured his heel at Daytona and will miss the remainder of the Supercross season.

"We're going to miss Timmy during these next seven rounds," said Monster Energy Kawasaki Team Manager Mike Fisher. "His experienced leadership and great attitude really help the team. I know he is going to work hard to get back as soon as he can, and we can't wait to have Red Dog back in the truck."

Currently the team is focused on getting rookie Ryan Villopoto into the top three in points. After finishing sixth last weekend, Villopoto currently sits 10 points out of third in the championship standings.
