Pramac Racing has had to shuffle riders recently. Spanish rider Aleix Esparago will be the latest person to get a crack at piloting the Pramac Ducati.
For the next two rounds of the MotoGP World Championship in Indianapolis and Misano Adriatico, the Pramac Racing Team has chosen to substitute Mika Kallio with Spanish rider Aleix Espargaro. Aleix, born on July 30, 1989, in Granollers, will have the opportunity to be back on track after having competed for two races in the 250cc class this season. He has joined the MotoGP World Championship after becoming the youngest rider to win the 125cc Spanish Championship in 2004.
Aleix Espargaro -
"I am very happy as this season has been very hard for me. We are beginning a project for next year to be back in the World Championship and this will be a good occasion to get back in touch with with my world. This season I have ridden for a couple of races in the 250cc category in Assen and Sachsenring concluding in fourth and seventh position, therefore I feel physical ready. It's like a dream come true to find my self all of a sudden in MotoGP. I want to thank the Pramac Racing Team that is giving me this opportunity to compete at the top level of Motorcycle road racing."
