There’s little doubt the story of the 2008 Superbike World Championship was the outstanding domination of Troy Bayliss as the popular Australian chased a third title before retiring from the sport.

While Bayliss may have taken the headlines, the 14-round season was action-packed from start to finish with some of the fastest and closest racing seen in recent years.
