Kawasaki continues to reward riders who choose to race green.
Kawasaki Motors Corp., U.S.A. announced today its road racing contingency will reach over $1.8 million, continuing the company’s dedication to rewarding those who race green. The 2009 posting is the largest contingency program, and with the all-new Kawasaki Ninja® ZX™-6R, it’s a great time to take advantage of the incredible payouts.
In the AMA Pro Road Racing Series, winners of the Daytona SportBike and American Superbike classes receive an impressive $5,000, while the young racers of the SuperSport class receive $2,500. Along with these large payouts, the Daytona SportBike class offers payouts up to 10th place.
“We are extremely happy to be posting such a high contingency program,” said Team Green™ Manager Reid Nordin. “Kawasaki continues to show its dedication and commitment to racing. We are proud to support the future talent of the sport.”
The 2009 season is a great time to take advantage of the road racing contingency program with the debut of the
2009 Ninja ZX-6R. The powerful new machine is 22 pounds lighter, and features better acceleration, more precise control, and lighter handling.
“As we have seen so far, Kawasaki’s contingency program is higher than any other across the board,” said Nordin. “Not only do we have a high contingency in road race, we have the largest payout in nearly every discipline. With the combination of great product and support, it’s a great time to ride green.”
