The deadline is approaching to buy advance tickets at 20% off last year's price for the AMA Superbike Showdown.
The AMA Suzuki Superbike Showdown, April 3-5 at Road Atlanta, is less than two weeks away! Advance single day tickets are only $40 (discounted 20% from last year) but the deadline to purchase these tickets is Tuesday, March 31s at 5:00 PM EST. Go to www.roadatlanta.com  or call 1.800.849.7223. As always, kids under 12 get in free.

AMA Pro Racing has a new look this season as changes to rules and classes will create closer competition between the teams while still providing heart pounding excitement and thrilling speeds. The doubleheader event at Road Atlanta will feature AMA Superbike championship points races on both Saturday and Sunday.

All the major manufacturers including Suzuki, Kawasaki, Yamaha, Honda, Ducati and Aprilia will be represented on the starting grid. In addition, fans will see their favorite riders including Mat Mladin, Tommy Hayden, Neil Hodgson, Ben Bostrom, Roger Lee Hayden, Josh Hayes, Georgia natives Aaron Yates and Geoff May, and many others.

“We’re excited about returning to the spring, not only because of the cooler temperatures and the start of motorcycle riding season in Georgia, but now our fans don’t have to wait until fall to check out the new and improved competition and excitement of AMA Pro Racing,” said Geoff Lee, Road Atlanta President. “With the discounted ticket prices, and kids 12 and under getting in free, it will be a great weekend to bring the entire family to the races”.

The redesigned series has new classes including American Superbike (1,000cc), Daytona SportBike (600cc with four, three, and two-cylinder engines), the newly created SuperSport (600cc for riders aged 16-21), and SunTrust MOTO-GT (600cc in GT1 and GT2 classes).

In addition to the exciting on track action, fans can enjoy stunt show performances by AM Freestyle, a wheelie simulator machine, large vendor area, parade laps, a fan party Friday night at nearby Cycle Nation, and much more.
