LoneStar Harley-Davidson Special Edition
The LoneStar Harley-Davidson Special Edition is a sharp-looking long-haul truck.
Navistar International, a manufacturer of medium and heavy trucks, has made a bold-looking, customized Harley-Davidson big rig. With an aerodynamic design, signature black and orange Harley paint, an imposing chrome grille and shining stacks, the long haul truck is designed to get truckers to their destinations in style. Many truckers I know are fans of The Motor Company and I’m sure they’d love to have this rig. The International LoneStar Harley-Davidson Special Edition was introduced at the Mid-America Trucking Show and is designed in collaboration with Harley using authentic Harley-Davidson motorcycle elements.

The Harley-Davidson logo decorates the truck’s sunshade and batter box. Black paint dominates the exterior, broken by racy orange and silver striping that runs down its middle, and a billet-style front grille and deep chrome bumper will paint an imposing portrait in car’s rearview mirrors. Its headlights are true Harley-Davidson motorcycle headlights.

And the inside is incredible. The seats are decked out in deep, rich leather with Harley graphics, the cockpit is full of turned aluminum gauge faces, and the interior features dark rosewood cabinets and a walnut floor. Its sleeper has a pull down bed that quickly converts from a couch to a 42-inch-wide bunk. Talk about riding in style. The interior looks more like a Jaguar than an overland hauler.

Harley owners love to customize their bikes, so in true Harley-Davidson fashion, the LoneStar has a long list of accessories to select from to customize the truck to a driver’s tastes. As the NaviStar website states, “The International LoneStar Harley-Davidson Special Edition is built for those who don’t just make their living on the road. They enjoy the ride.”

HD Rider - Harley-Davidson Big Rig  October 7, 2009 11:28 PM
The new Harley Davidson big rig is way cool and will probably outsell every rig on the market. If Harley Davidson ever decided to make cars and trucks (the HD Ford pickups are really just regular Fords with HD logos) they will cream the competition. I am a firm supporter of the brand and always show my Harley colors and yes I even have a tatoo. HD pride is a great thing and the men that don't own a Harley have dreams every night of owning one.

If the following too commentors were true Harley fans. They wouldn't say such stupid crap......Neither of you deserve that bike your riding..sell em and buy a yamaha or a suzuki if thats how you feel. As for me.....both a die hard Harley Fan and an Over the Road Trucker....hell yeah I would buy the truck. Keep up the good work...better days are still ahead

Give me a break will ya HD? You can already buy everything from panties, coffee mugs, blankets to F150's. Hell the list goes on and on. Really hainous. Should be called Harley Disneyland instead. I remember when they were trying to patent or register the sound an HD makes back in the 90's. When I got my Harley I couldn't wait to get every name brand off the thing. And no way was I going to go get the dumb ass tattoo. Shesh, how embarassing
Tim B - Nice truck, but...  March 19, 2009 04:26 PM
...Harley would throw their colors on a dog turd if they could sell it... It hasn't happened yet, but the Harley fad will die out and a Harley backlash will happen in the future. Only the diehards will remain loyal. People don't like when things get too big and too in their face.
