Ducati Diavel in Diamond Black
The Diamond Black color scheme is set to replace the original white offering of the Ducati Diavel.
In response to feedback from motorcycle show visitors, Ducati is pleased to announce the addition of a stunning diamond black color scheme for the new 2011 Ducati Diavel.

With the Diavel receiving consumer attention at motorcycle shows around the globe, Ducati collected feedback from passionate motorcyclists viewing the bike for the first time. The new diamond black color option is the result of immediate response to customer demand.

While the Diavel Carbon was overwhelmingly loved alongside the Diavel in traditional Ducati Red, the black livery replaces the originally presented white offering. The new black scheme will also be further enhanced with a black anodized headlamp body and lateral air intakes.

The new black diamond color has already been incorporated into production plans and will be available alongside the entire Diavel range this February at authorized Ducati dealerships. For more information about the 2011 Ducati Diavel, please visit www.ducatiusa.com.

This could be big for Ducati. The owner of the Yamaha shop I use told me that cruisers outsell all other type bikes like 15 to one in America and could be a cash cow for Ducati. If they can price it less than the vmax It could bite a chunk out of the performance cruiser market, especially if it runs and handles like people are saying. I looked at a new Thunderbird and I believe that bike will definitely sell. When time comes to retire my Royal Star TD that bike is at the top of my list.

how the Diavel will compare performance wise with the Streetfighter. The Diavel is slightly heavier & more powerful but the SF is lighter and has ergos suited to sporty riding.
