The new CBR250R mimics the lines of its sporting Honda kin like the VFR1200 but the big question remains: How much will the entry-level CBR cost

The Honda CBR250R will be priced at $3999, identical to the rival Kawasaki Ninja 250R.

The CB1000R will retail for $10,999, arriving in Spring 2011.

American Honda has announced pricing for its much-anticipated CBR250R. The entry-level single-cylinder sportbike will retail for $3999. The price is identical to the MSRP listed for the Kawasaki Ninja 250R. The ABS version of the CBR250R will fetch an extra $500.

Honda also announced pricing for the CB1000R naked at $10,999. Known as the Hornet in Europe, the new-to-the-U.S. CB1000R retails for $400 to $500 more than its traditional rivals – the Kawasaki Z1000 ($10,599) and Yamaha FZ1 ($10,490).

Both new Honda models are expected to hit dealer floors in Spring of 2011.

Can't wait for a comparo of the CB1000R, Z1000, and FZ1! And when is Yamaha planning to update the FZ1? Wasn't it all new for 2006?

Its pretty sweet that Honda matched the price of the Kawi 250, considering the Honda has fuel injection. I'm guessing when the fuel injected ninja 250 comes out it will be more expensive than this Honda.

that's the only thing holding back the Ninja 250R. very happy with all of this competition, let's see a comparo between the Ninja CBR and Hyosung GT250R!

It's funny how Honda charges $7,199 for it's CRF250R, but asks only $3,999 for its street going 250.
