Johnny Campbell is always the favorite, but he was pushed hard by the B-team.
The other expected challenge to Campbell’s supremacy came from a Red Bull KTM 620 LC4 rode by Chris Blais and Andy Grider. The challenge dissipated early however, with the bike crashing out before the 150-mile mark.
Campbell and Hengeveld didn't make up time until the last 75 miles, as Hengeveld began the day 4 minutes back.
The Honda B-team of Kendall Norman and Robby Bell was first off the starting line and led the majority of the race.
Johnny Campbell passed the XR650 back over to Steve Hengeveld at the Cottontail Pit #5.
The second KTM team of Quinn Cody and Kellon Walch on a 595 LC4 started second off the line and finished fourth overall.
The XR's Only team of Mike Childress and Chuck Dempsey were good for third overall.
