Kawasaki is recalling certain 2009-2010 Vulcan cruisers due to complications with the Engine Control Unit (ECU) that could potentially cause the engine to stall. This occurs
The 2009 Kawasaki Vulcan 1700 Nomad has color-matched hard saddlebags that look sharp in two-tone paint.
Kawasaki is issuing a recall on its 2009-2010 Vulcan cruisers due to a faulty setting on its ECU.
primarily when riders are coasting with the clutch pulled in due to an improper setting on the ECU. An engine stall at speed on a busy freeway could be a bad situation, so Kawasaki dealers with be replacing the ECU with one containing revised settings. The number of units affected is not disclosed.

The safety recall begins on or before November 1, 2010. Owners can contact Kawasaki Consumer Services Department at 866-802-9381 or can contact the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration’s Vehicle Safety Hotline at 1-888-327-4326. They can also check online at HTTP://WWW.SAFERCAR.GOV.

I agree...because the foreign brands are more responsible. HD would say that it's normal for a Harley and you should quit your whining.

Sounds like a dangerous situation. But thats what you can expect from those foreign brands.
