Kawasaki is issuing a recall on its 2009-2010 Vulcan cruisers due to a faulty setting on its ECU.
primarily when riders are coasting with the clutch pulled in due to an improper setting on the ECU. An engine stall at speed on a busy freeway could be a bad situation, so Kawasaki dealers with be replacing the ECU with one containing revised settings. The number of units affected is not disclosed.
