In honor of fallen Italian motorcycle racer Marco Simoncelli, riders around the world are encouraged to rev their motorcycle engines for exactly 58 seconds at 10:30 am (Valencia, Spain time, +1 GMT). The movement came about after Simoncelli’s father, Paolo commented that his son would have rather have noise over a traditional moment of silence.
