Nike 6.0 High Fives Supercross Champ Stewart
Wednesday, May 06, 2009
Tonight, while I was searching for the end of the Internet, I stumbled upon this cool video courtesy of the folks over at Nike 6.0. The video congratulates their newest dirt bike riding athlete, James Stewart on his recent Supercross championship. If you didn’t already know, Stewart just nabbed his second Supercross title last weekend in Las Vegas after narrowly acing his nemesis and this year’s reigning champ, Chad Reed by just six points.
Anyways, while the video isn’t all that special cinematography wise, it shows some cool clips of Stewart when he was a kid. And watching these flashbacks from the past are always especially cool when you see the guy where he is today. Watching that kind of progression is inspiring plain and simple.
After I watched this, I couldn’t help but recall those old-school “Bo Knows”, Bo Jackson commercials that use to run incessantly on the television when I was a kid. Not to mention those sweet Michael Jordan 21/Spike Lee commericals. I remember those as being simple, class, and yet cool. And once again Nike continues the trend with its new video. Check it.
