Hey everybody, I just got done spinning some laps at the controls of BMW’s new hot-rodded S1000RR HP4. It’s no secret that I’m a super fanboy of Germany’s flagship sportbike, even in bone stock form. And this new up-spec version continues to keep me dreaming white and blue. Probably the word that can be best used to describe the new bike is polished. From the engine, chassis and electronics, each aspect has been massaged in an effort to deliver an smoother and more refined experience. The new electronics package, which includes electronically adjustable suspension that actually performs adjustment automatically based on track conditions performed at a very high-level. Honestly, there really isn’t a whole lot not to love and I’d go so far to say that the HP4 is probably one of the best production sportbikes I’ve ever ridden.
