Two-Seat Superbike Rides at Auto Club
Tuesday, November 20, 2012
This coming Thanksgiving weekend, the folks over at Roadracing World magazine will be offering two-up motorcycle rides at Southern California’s Auto Club Speedway. AMA racer Chris Ulrich will be riding a specially-prepped Geico-sponsored Suzuki GSX-R1000 racebike outfitted with a passenger seat, foot rests and grab handles. All that’s required is a $50 donation to the
Roadracing World Action Fund, a non-profit group that purchases soft inflatable barriers for national-level road races at circuits with dangerous impact zones. Don’t have any riding gear? Worry not, as there will be appropriate safety equipment including leathers, boots, gloves and a full-face helmet. Scared? You should be—just kidding—Ulrich and co. have an flawless track record and have been running this two-up program for years.
