GoPro Releases HD Motorsports HERO Camera

Thursday, October 15, 2009

Check out how clear of a picture GoPro’s new $299.99 Motorsports HD HERO camera is capable of capturing. Motorcycle-USA will be incorporating it in future motorcycle reviews.
GoPro, the leading and most popular manufacturer of wearable digital medium recording devices will be soon offering an all-new camera that will allow motorsports enthusiasts to record their favorite activity in true 1080p high-definition resolution.

This compact, not to mention rugged camera can be mounted virtually anywhere on a motorcycle or ATV via its included 3-axis suction cup mount or fixed adhesive mounts. The new camera has its own rechargeable power pack that can record up to 2.5 hours of video footage. Better yet, the battery can be recharged via the mini-USB style adapter port. Data is stored directly to a removable SD card with a maximum storage capacity of 32 gigabytes. Furthermore the camera is capable of recording still images in 5 megapixel resolution and can be set to snap off a picture in 2, 5, 10, 30, or 60 second increments.

We’ve depended on GoPro’s standard $199.99 Motorsports HERO Wide cam for the last year and have had nothing but excellent results. Thus we’re really excited to provide viewers with the visual and audio clarity afforded by the new HD cam. The HD Motorsports HERO cam will cost $299.99 and pre-orders are currently being accepted with an estimated shipping date of the last week of October. Make sure to check back in a few weeks for a in-depth review of this new camera.
