Just when you wrote off Italian MotoGP pilot Marco Melandri after his depressing season last year with the Ducati MotoGP squad, it seems that the Italian is back in form. What’s even more impressive is that he’s performing on what many consider to be the arguably most under developed motorcycle within the premier class paddock.

Tonight, while I was searching for the end of the Internet, I stumbled upon this cool video courtesy of the folks over at Nike 6.0. The video congratulates their newest dirt bike riding athlete, James Stewart on his recent Supercross championship. If you didn’t already know, Stewart just nabbed his second Supercross title last weekend in Las Vegas after narrowly acing his nemesis and this year’s reigning champ, Chad Reed by just six points.

The FedEx dude dropped by the MotoUSA Orange County office today while I was polishing our new 2009 Honda CBR1000RR test motorcycle. We’ve got the limited edition model dressed up in the same eye-catching Repsol Honda MotoGP colors that Dani Pedrosa and Andrea Dovizioso rock so it’s not much of a surprise how much attention this motorcycle gets.   The first question he asked was how much power does it have?
