Epic Conditions at Piru Motocross Park

If you’re into riding dirt bikes check out Piru Motocross Park. The track conditions right now are epic.
Hey all, I just wanted to drop a note in regards to the epic conditions at
Piru Motocross Park this past weekend. Kevin and his talented crew have got the place absolutely dialed right now. The track is located just north of just north of Los Angeles. They are open on Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday/Sunday. The fee to ride is $25 with zero membership fee.
Built into the hillside, Piru features tons of elevation change and sports a variety of different obstacles for riders of every skill level. The current track configuration is fun, challenging and about as safe as it gets for a jump laden motocross track. In fact, the track reminds me of Ferrari’s Mugello road racing test track, only with jumps—totally awesome!
Today I rode a 2010
Kawasaki KX450F (Learn what it is like to pilot in our
2010 Kawasaki KX450F First Ride) and I can’t believe how well the thing works—even at a smaller, tighter track like Piru. Despite its size the bike will absolutely shock you with its low-speed agility. It’s also amazing how much more friendly it is to ride by simply adjusting the engine’s powerband via the optional
Kawasaki Fuel Injection Calibration Kit.
If you live in or around Southern California and are seriously into motocross, we highly recommend making the trek to Piru.
