World Ducati Week Begins
Friday, June 11, 2010
Greetings fellow motorcycle enthusiasts, Adam here: I'm on the ground in central Italy for the 2010 World Ducati Week celebration taking place at the Misano racing circuit near the Adriatic coast this weekend.
World Ducati week is basically a gigantic party for Ducati motorcycle enthusiasts. It takes place every couple of years and folks from all over the world converge on Misano for a weekend of motorcycling fun.
Later today, I'll be piloting an 2011 Ducati Monster 796, yet another addition to Ducati's constantly growing model line-up. The plan is to ride from Ducati's worldwide headquarters in Bologna to the track, which is about 2 to 3 hours away, depending on how lost i'll get.
The weather here right now is hot and humid, Miami-style which is just the way I like it. Stay tuned for updates through the weekend.
