Hey all, Associate Editor Adam here. I’m finally on the ground in Daytona Beach, Florida for the 2009 installment of Daytona Bike Week. But getting here wasn’t easy. Due to unseasonably cold/wet/snowy weather at Delta’s Atlanta, Georgia hub over the weekend our original flight was cancelled, leading to a ridiculous zigzagging 18-hour cross-country reroute. Fortunately we managed to find another direct flight option with a different carrier which enabled us to avoid the guaranteed chaos in Atlanta.

So alas, we’re here at the world’s epicenter of racing. But it’s cold… 43-degrees on the mercury to be exact, but, hey at least it’s dry and sunny. Even better is that we’ll be cruising the hopefully-not-so-mean streets of Daytona on a couple of Orange County Choppers. What better way to get around Daytona than that?
