Enos outfitted in Alpinestars gear and armed with only his Nikon, Vespa and iPhone, embarked on a two-month journey to Central America beginning March 1 from Las Vegas.
USA, one of the most recognized and respected names in the two-wheel industry, is partnering with New York-based photographer Clay Enos to get in the mix of conversation through the remote hills of Central America and visit specialty coffee farms. Aboard a black Vespa GTS 300 Super, Clay Enos, most widely known for his commercial, editorial and print campaigns with legends like Sting and Zack Snyder, the director of Watchmen and the forthcoming Sucka Punch, will give voice and vision to Central America’s specialty coffee farmers and their communities . Enos will discover the origins of the beans that get the world started and honor the farmers who make a delicious morning cup possible.
Similar to Vespa, a true testament to freedom, great design and good taste, Enos will ride free of itineraries or agendas in search of the highest quality coffees, uploading photographs and story bites daily. An ardent supporter of the health and economic benefits of local food and beverage production and consumption, Enos considers this trip an opportunity to share information on the benefits and power of organic coffee to consumers and rural communities of the developing world.
Last summer Clay Enos embarked on the Local Time Vespa Tour, a coast to coast journey touring America’s backroads on a Vespa GTS 300 Super. Enos began his journey in New York City, with a final stop in Vancouver, British Columbia. With the odometer reading 7,000 miles, Enos traveled to and conversed with dozens of local food growers and producers.
