RoadLoK powersport locking system now distributed by
Yamaha Parts & Accessories.
RoadLoK Security, developer and manufacturer of model-specific locking systems for powersport vehicles, has produced anti-theft systems for Yamaha’s sportbike and
Star motorcycle lineup.
Yamaha’s
R6,
R1 and FZ6R customers can now secure their motorcycles with RoadLoK’s patented locking system—which, unlike disc locks, padlocks, or chains, completely immobilizes the vehicle without causing vehicular damage or rider injury. The same anti-theft locking system has been developed for Yamaha’s Star motorcycle riders; V-Star, Royal Star,
Road Star, and
VMAX owners have exclusive access to the same award-winning, foolproof, fail-safe locking technology which RoadLoK has provided to the American V-Twin market for several years.
The patented technology powering each RoadLoK powersport locking system provides 100% safe anti-theft locking security due to the system’s permanently-mounted lock body—which literally becomes a part of the vehicle’s frame. The frame-mounted solution eliminates movement completely while the system is engaged—the very movement which makes disc locks, padlocks, and chains so very dangerous if the rider forgets to remove those devices before attempting to ride off. Additionally, the removable BrakeBolt™ pin, which keeps the bike locked right where the rider parks the vehicle, guarantees that the system will never accidentally lock while the rider is operating the vehicle. And, as with all RoadLoK systems, customers are eligible for an insurance discount when they lock their Yamaha with a RoadLoK system.
RoadLoK systems for these select
Yamaha sportbikes and Star motorcycles are now available at authorized
Yamaha dealerships nationwide and will be featured on Yamaha’s website at
www.yamaha-motor.com.
