Kawaski Announces 30th Anniversary ZX-14R

Friday, July 11, 2014
Back in May 2014 Kawasaki announced it would celebrate the 30th Anniversary of the Ninja with special edition versions of the ZX-6R and ZX-10R. Now add a third commemorative bike to the lineup with the 30th Anniversary Limited Edition ZX-14R ABS, which Kawasaki unveiled at Laguna Seca during the 2014 World Superbike/AMA Pro Racing weekend.

Only 300 of the LE ZX-14Rs will be produced and all will come in the Firecracker Red and Metallic Greystone paint as used on the first Ninja, the 1984 Ninja 900. In addition to the colorway, there will be gold pinstriping and gold brake calipers as well as 30th Anniversary logos on the fairing sides and a numbered badge on the tank.

The Limited Edition model comes with the same performance specs as the 2015 ZX-14R ABSty. Kawasaki dealers will begin taking orders on July 15, 2014 at 9 a.m. PDT. All orders must be made with a $1000 non-refundable deposit, and orders will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis through a time and date stamp. MSRP for the LE is set at $15,899.
