In anticipation of the arrival of MV Agusta’s new middleweight sportbike, the F3, the Italian brand has announced that it will be producing a limited-edition Serie Oro model prior to the production run of the standard machine.

This up-spec bike will feature a number of high-end parts including a single-sided swingarm and forged aluminum wheels painted the same color as the frame. The bike also gets a special paint scheme devoid of any graphics. Furthermore the rearview mirrors are painted and the subframe is color-matched as well.

More visual appeal comes in the form of the polished clutch cover and the alternator cover is machined from billet aluminum. Both the rider and passenger seats are hand stitched and make use of both leather and alcantara (high-end suede). Carbon fiber parts have also liberally been applied and include front and rear mudguards, instrument cover, airbox covers, chain guides, sprocket cover, lower fairing and exhaust tips.

In terms of performance the Serie Oro F3 will make use of race-derived Brembo brake rotors controlled by monobloc calipers. Front and rear suspension has been sourced from Ohlins as has the steering damper. Lastly the foot controls feature full adjustment. Only 200 units will be built and there is no word on U.S. pricing or availability, but expect it to cost significantly more than the standard model (11,990 Euros for the Italian market).
