Chris Ulrich
Nationality:
Italian
Team:
M4 Monster Suzuki
Machine:
Suzuki GSX-R1000 (#18)
Born:
December 6, 1979 in Orange, CA
Chris Ulrich has been racing in the AMA Pro Road Racing series since 1998. After honing his skills in the WERA & CMRRA series, Ulrich began his career competing in the AMA 250 GP class. In 1999 he finished third in the 250 GP class and earned himself a ride aboard the Roadracingworld.com 750 Supersport team.
Raised in a roadracing family, the son of Roadracing World Magazine’s John Ulrich, Chris has been in or around the paddock his entire life. He also shares the honor of representing his magazine as an editor during press intros, and his track experience and knowledge on all types of machines has paid major dividends for him during his racing career.
In 2001 he won a WERA National Endurance Championship after claiming his first career 750 Supersport win at Laguna Seca. A man of many trades, Chris’ racing resume includes leading the Roadracingworld.com Racing Team in the MotoST series. They won the 2007 8 Hours of Daytona and placed second in 2008.
For 2009, Ulrich continued on the Roadracingworld.com racing team and moved up to the AMA Superbike series where he captured 12th in the championship. The next year Ulrich improved in the series and clenched eighth overall after finishing 14 of 19 races within the top-10.
In 2011 Ulrich will return to M4 Monster Energy Suzuki where he will campaign the American Superbike Championship alongside new teammate, Martin Cardenas.
