Josh Herrin - Team Graves Yamaha
Rider: Josh Herrin
Nationality: American
Team: Graves Motorsport Yamaha
Machine: Yamaha R6 (#8)
Born: June 27, 1990 in Glendale, CA
Josh Herrin started roadracing early with mini bikes and YSR 50s. The youngster had a rare opportunity to compete in the World Mini GP Festival at the Valencia circuit, riding a mini GP bike and finishing the double event as the top-scoring American. At the age of 14 Herrin won the 2004 USGPRU 125 national title. Shortly after he appeared on AMA Pro Racing radar with a surprising Supersport podium at Miller Motorsports Park on '06. In 2007 he took seventh overall in the Supersport series after claiming one win and another two podium finishes. Herrin improved his finish the following season, earning fifth-place in the 2008 championship.

Continuing with Graves Yamaha in 2009, Herrin made the step up to racing in the AMA Daytona SportBike series. The youngster took quickly to the new class and developed into a top competitor. He took the YZF-R6 to second overall in the '09 championship and finished just five points behind the title winner, Danny Eslick. For 2010 Herrin continued his strong run with Graves Yamaha by posting third overall in the standings behind Martin Cardenas and Eslick. However, Herrin's season was concluded under difficult terms following a hostile race with Eslick which resulted in Herrin crashing out.

For 2011 Herrin will continue to contest the Daytona SportBike series and has re-signed with Graves Yamaha.
