2011 Suzuki Middle Class Motorcycle Images

Wednesday, June 15, 2011
The latest teaser images of the Suzuki Middle-class new Motorcycle reveals a few key components that seem to clarify what we can expect from this motorcycle. First of all the close-up image of the front cowling and headlight looks so similar to the V-Strom 650 that we tend to think this is a freshened up version of Suzuki’s middleweight adventure touring bike.
The first pictures of the 2011 Suzuki New Middle Class Motorcycle are here. This is the front of the bike which clearly shows it will have a V-Twin engine and low-buck front suspension.
Here is the V-Twin engine of a V-Strom 650. Notice the placement of the oil filter It is in the exact same position on the 2011 Suzuki New Middle Class Motorcycle engine.
The actual image of the front headlamp of the 2011 Suzuki New Middle Class Motorcycle looks pretty good. If you cant see the V-Strom elements of this design you are missing the point.
It is pretty much a given that this new motorcycle will be powered by a version of the Suzuki 650 V-Twin engine. Look at the placement of the oil filter in the far left image and the center image. That and the cases are very similar. The headlamp image is very much V-Strom inspired. The little V-Strom was a popular motorcycle based on a low MSRP and durable design.

Further evidence supporting this theory is the clear shot of the front of the motorcycle. Here you can clearly see the V-Twin engine and the signature oil filter hanging low and in front of the engine case behind the front wheel. This is the same layout as the last V-Strom 650 engine as you can see in the comparison images below. The spindly standard
front fork reveals a low-budget approach to the bike’s suspension which also favors the notion that this is an updated version of the budget-minded V-Strom 650.

The last piece of evidence that eliminates any hope of this new motorcycle having off-road tendencies is the front fender and street-oriented tires. So, we suspect Suzuki is reviving the Wee-Strom with a face lift but we are still waiting for verification and details from Suzuki.
Although the actual image of the fuel tank are blurry and dark we figured you woudl still be interested in seeing what the 2011 Suzuki New Middle Class Motorcycle might look like.We hate to say it bt this is what we were hoping to see from the 2011 Suzuki New Middle Class Motorcycle. An adventure touring capable machine that would rival the F800 and new Tiger 800 XC.Will the New Middle Class Suzuki be a rival to the F800GS or Tiger 800 XC
We were hoping to see something along the lines of what Touratech has done (Center Image) with the V-Strom 650-series: A purpose-built off-road capable adventure touring motorcycle that would challenge the F800GS and new Tiger 800 XC. Oh well...

I hope they stay with the 650 engine to keep the price lower. Suzuki will sell a boat load if it turns out to be an updated V Strom 650 with ABS.
