When it comes to racing minis, there's no bigger name than BBR Motorsports, and there's no bigger venue than the MiniMoto SX. We thrash the bike that took home the glory. Check out how this bike held up in our 2006 Title Winning BBR 119 Test.

Duane's personal ride was nothing short of awesome either, but what do you expect from one of the sport's top innovators?

His whoop speed was better at the end of the day, but JC wasn’t exactly skimming the section.

Where Costella’s suspension was a little soft in areas, Duane’s bike was set up too stiff for our tastes. Brian commented on the surprising range of adjustability using the same components.

This form propelled Crystal to 13th in the MiniMoto SX after only minimal time on the bike following an injury.

Like usual, JC had to use the excuse of writing notes to let his arm pump dissolve. It’s amazing how much energy it takes to keep unruly minis under control.

Who’s this guy? It’s amazing how mini freaks seem to come out of the woodwork when BBR race bikes are on hand. Actually it’s Crystal’s husband, and he rails.

Crystal Scheid spent time between Duane’s 160, Costella’s 119 and her own CHP 143. She liked the BBR bikes the best, but don’t tell her sponsors.

Brian pauses for a rare moment or respite, contemplating the possibility of world peace.

A big difference between the two BBR race bikes was the hydraulic clutch on Duane’s 160.

Chris Brown keeps a close eye on his fruits of labor. Actually, both he and Duane were more than happy to let us do our worst, and the bikes held up in fantastic form.

While Chamberlain was doing the majority of the testing on Costella's bike, JC was trying not to destroy Duane's bike. He's got a ways to go on those mini skills.

The 160cc motor didn’t rev as far as the modified Daytona 119, but the low-end power was more robust.

Though similar, there are visible differences between Duane’s KLX-based 160 and Costella’s bike. Duane stuck to the black and green motif with more discipline than the Vegas winner.

Brian tries to covey his feelings of euphoria to MiniMoto Magazine’s Tim Clark.

JC managed to get a little bit of front-wheel roost by the end of the day. The BBR machines proved to be a great learner in the sense that they more closely resemble big bikes than most minis.
