Beta Motorcycles is best known for their tough off-road motorcycles and world championship proven trials bikes.
Beta Motorcycles began under bicycle manufacturer Società Giuseppe Bianchi which became a motorcycle manufacturer in 1948. Named after the company owners at the time, Enzo Bianchi and Arrigo Tosi, Beta focused mainly on simple two-stroke motorcycles in its early years. As Beta's experience and market grew in to the 70's where they would begin to move in to the off-road motorcycle market and see their greatest success. Since the 1980's Beta has been one of the leading manufacturers for Trials motorcycles and captured world trials championships with pro riders Jordi Tarrés, Dougie Lampkin and Albert Cabestany. Beta Motorcycles continues to produce their championship proven trials bikes today with the Evo line 2-stroke and 4-stroke bikes alongside their enduro and motocross models.
