Leo Vince X3 Exhaust Photo Gallery
We had nearly gone mad with anticipation by the time this full-system X3 exhaust arrived from Italy. Our temporary insanity was only heightened when we tore open the box and laid eyes on this work of art. Check out our review on the
Leo Vince Full-System X3 Exhaust
When our 2006 CRF250R needed a little pick-me-up, we picked up the phone and called Leo Vince to see what was available. They shipped out a full system titanium/carbon fiber X3 dual-muffler exhaust that gave our ride quite the boost, indeed.
Step 1 - Remove all four components of the stock exhaust.
Step 2 - The bike looks pretty naked without a pipe.
Step 3 - Install the header. Don’t worry about connecting all the springs just yet. It’s easier to go back through and put them on later.
Step 4 - Install the midpipe. This section is slightly wider than the stock piece.
Step 5 - Leo Vince includes a handy spring puller to ease the connections between the muffler/midpipe, midpipe/header and header/cyclinder. Make sure you note where they connect so that you don’t miss any of the springs.
Step 6 - These springs are used to hold the entire system together.
Step 7 - Attach the muffler mounting bracket to the subframe. We had to use a small screwdriver to align the secondary mounting holes. Be sure to use the little bolts that hold this piece together or the next time you remove your muffler you’ll have to dig out that tiny screwdriver again.
Step 8 - Leo Vince provides all the necessary hardware inserts to make your machine off-road legal.
Step 9 - The spark arrestor fits in place easily, secured by four titanium Allen bolts.
Step 10 - Moto on the left, off-road on the right.
Step 11 - The fruit of your labor. This system is one of the best-looking we’ve seen.
Step 12 - These wash plugs don’t actually fit if you have the spark arrestors inserted. They’re full of good advice though.
