North America, Inc. is excited to announce its contingency payout for the 2011 AMA Supercross
and AMA Arenacross
Series. KTM will post $580,000 in possible contingency payout between the two series. Contingency will be available in the following classes for the overall finish per round.
KTM contingency is for cash payouts for the AMA Supercross and AMA Arenacross Pro Series. All interested pro riders must register with www.xtrm.com
to receive KTM contingency. Pro riders must sign up for the XTRM Pro account in order to collect KTM cash payouts.
"KTM is excited to continue its contingency program with both the Supercross and Arenacross Series. KTM has taken a different approach to its contingency plan by creating a payout that caters toward the privateer riders. By paying each qualifying position, all riders that make the main event aboard their KTM are guaranteed a payout to help them get to the next race," remarked KTM President Jon-Erik Burleson.
"We're very excited to provide the platform to manage KTM's 2011 contingency offering," adds Richard Grogan-Crane, XTRM CEO and Founder. "This is another example of KTM's forward thinking in providing the absolute best for their sponsored riders."
KTM will also launch a new support program for amateur motocross riders through its dealership network. All interested applicants must submit a résumé to their local KTM dealer to be considered for support. The résumé will only be considered if submitted by the KTM dealer - individual résumés sent directly by the rider will not be considered. Each rider résumé should include the rider's 2011 planned race schedule and classes as well as past racing accomplishments/results. All résumés must be submitted by February 1, 2011.
Riders must be willing to race a minimum of 4 amateur national events to be considered for the support program. Each applicant's résumé will be processed and selected riders will be determined on February 15, 2011. The level of support will vary based on the riders skill and ability, past race results and value as determined by the KTM dealer.
In addition, to the support packages, KTM also has posted its largest contingency program in history. For more details on the 2011 contingency program please visit www.xtrm.com
