KTM will contest the WEC with the new 350
EXC-F Factory.
KTM has revealed its newest World Enduro Championship bikes to be raced by factory riders and based off the 350 platform. By doing so, KTM has announced its plans to offer the 350 as an enduro model to the general public. By entering into top-level competition, KTM is simultaneously putting the bike through rigorous testing and it all starts with the KTM 350 EXC-F Factory.
KTM introduced the
350 SX-F motocross bike earlier in the year but the EXC-F race bike will be different. For now we know that it will have a completely different chassis and KTM has switched back to a PDS shock system . After admitting that a traditional linkage system works best for motocross, KTM is standing by its belief that the PDS design works better for enduro, and the 350 EXC-F Factory reflects that with a new shock. The bike also has new bodywork to match, photos show a natural fuel cell which made it into production on the two-stroke line last year.
Stay tuned for more information and photos as they become available.
