John Below of Antiga, Wis. is the lucky winner of a 2008 Kymco Xciting scooter courtesy of MotorcycleUSA. It only took him a few minutes to sign up for our newsletter and win a $6000 sport-oriented scooter.
Not all unsolicited e-mails are spam. John Below didn't recognize the name Rea McLean (MotorcycleUSA's Online Advertising Manager) when it appeared in his inbox, but something compelled him to open it anyways. Luckily he did, and found out that he is the winner of MotorcycleUSA's most recent contest. Simply by signing up for our newsletter
, John won himself a 2008 Kymco Xciting 500
scooter and is ready to resurrect his road riding days.
With gas prices pushing into the astronomical range, our winner admitted recently looking for an economical means of transportation. Look no further, John. The Xciting 500 is being shipped to your home in Antigo, Wisconsin as we speak.
Of course he'll appreciate the cash he'll save cruising around Antigo on his new scoot, but the sport-oriented Kymco is no slouch. It will easily get up to freeway speeds courtesy of a 500cc liquid-cooled engine with DOHC and an automatic CVT transmission. Not only does it get up and go, but it looks as racy as it performs.
When discovering he had won, surprise was an understatement. Like most of us, John had never won more than $50 at any given time, let alone a $6000 scooter. But this time he beat the odds and was chosen at random from over 9000 other entries.
John doesn't own a motorcycle currently but fortunately still has an endorsement on his driver's license. He does own two ATVs, a Polaris 2WD and a Bombardier Outlander 4X4 that he uses for trail riding and hunting, so now he'll have something to shred some asphalt on as well.
John won this time, but you could be next. Our current contest offers The Ultimate Kawasaki Adventure
, with an opportunity to win one of four epic adventures. Besides going on an unbelievable ride with members of MotorcycleUSA, the whole affair will be immortalized in an upcoming issue of MotoUSA magazine. A tour of Kawasaki HQ and a new set of riding gear are icing on the cake.
