British Rider Penalty? Sweet Tooth!

It is hard to admit that this piece of anti-bike news comes from the UK… It was recently reported that a 19-year-old motorcyclist was electronically tagged for four months, given 36 hours of community work and ordered to pay £50 costs, (he had a clean record before as well) after being convicted of a riding offence! Given such information you may think he had stolen a bike, knifed somebody or ridden dangerously.

2009 Paris Motorcycle Show Canceled

The bi-annual Paris Show, which is normally used as a world launch for most new models, apart from those hailing from Italy, has just been cancelled. The show was due to run this October, but the organizers say that due to the current economic conditions it has been cancelled and will be rescheduled for the autumn of 2010.
