Before a packed house at Pittsburgh’s Mellon Arena tonight, the inaugural Nuclear Cowboyz tour launched its first of 15 U.S. tour stops. Nuclear Cowboyz, Feld Motor Sports' newest property, is a collection of the world’s greatest FMX riders performing to a scripted storyline where two tribes, Soldiers of Havoc led by freestyle great Nate Adams and the Metal Mulisha led by Jeremy “Twitch” Stenberg, battle for supremacy in the post apocalyptic setting.

Pittsburgh native and hometown favorite Adam Jones rattled the audience, stomping dozens of inverts, cliff hangers and kiss of deaths as he and the Soldiers of Havoc, comprised of Nate Adams, Mike Mason, Jimmy McGuire, Matt Buyten and more, battled conflicting forces to preserve post apocalyptic supremacy.

“It felt awesome doing the show in front of the hometown crowd,” said Jones. “The show was really a lot of fun and we hope the crowd dug it. We didn’t see it as we were pretty focused, but everything felt really good out there and we just rode it. A lot of work went into Nuclear Cowboyz, we are pumped to be part of it”.

Opposing unit Metal Mulisha, equipped with FMX greats Jeremy “Twitch” Stenberg, Ronnie Faisst, Todd Potter, Jimmy Fitzpatrick and others, took freestyle motocross to elevated limits as they battled against Soldiers of Havoc, performing tactical whips, hart-attacks, synchronized no-handed flips/landings and much more, leaving fans on their feet soliciting for an encore.

As the two tribes battled one another with mind-blowing aerobatics, Geoff Aaron, a 10-time U.S. National Trials champion, revamped gravity aboard his motorcycle while jumping on cars, climbing ramps from ground level and executing many wheelies and stoppies. Quad-freestyle icon Derek Guetter pulled off the awe-inspiring back flip atop a 400lb ATV.

“Tonight’s show was the culmination of months of preparation and hard work to assemble the Nuclear Cowboyz tour,” said Todd Jendro, senior director of operations, Feld Motor Sports. “We have the world’s greatest freestyle motocross riders, pyrotechnics, dancers and more show enhancements that make Nuclear Cowboyz a must see in 2010.”
