Husqvarna motorcycles has released the list of changes for its 2010 model year enduro and motocross dirt bikes. The big news across the board is a new 48mm Kayaba fork which graces all models in place of the former Marzocchi unit. The only bike that won’t have new sticks is the WR125 which retains the old model but gets a new Sachs rear shock. Switching to KYB created the need for new triple clamps which are bolted to a strengthened frame. The TE (4-stroke enduro) and TC (4-stroke moto) models have a 15mm shorter swingarm. They also get new rear brake discs, beefed-up wheel hubs and high-performance water pump to feed a new radiator. Every bike gets plastic bodywork said to be stronger and more flexible, and 2010 graphics are applied.

Last year saw the introduction of a new fuel-injected motor in the TC250 motocross bike. It looks like engineers have put that new mill inside the TE version which is a natural progression. The TE310 is still based off the old TE250 motor.

The WR/CR125 gets a new exhaust pipe and silencer and the WR300 is also equipped with a revised expansion chamber. Enduro TE models get an upgraded headlight and the rear mudguard is slimmer for ’10. Husky’s new models should be available starting in July, 2009.

Electric start you fools. How stupid can you be? why is ktm smashing the market with its 300exc? because it has an electric leg!
Kevin in Australia - Bigger fuel tanks  August 24, 2009 09:39 AM
I agree with that other comment. We do need more range with enduro bikes. The tanks are far to small.
