Robb Beams, who is known for developing training programs for racers such as Ashley Fiolek, is joining the staff at the Ricky Carmichael University.

Beams, who is known for training programs that allow for better race day preparation, currently works with Motocross Champions Ashley Fiolek and Adam Cianciarulo. Beams also trains numerous other pro and amateur riders, and is recognized within the sport for his acumen with personalized training programs.

Beams is an accomplished fitness professional - in addition to being the founder of MotoE, he has 19 years of experience as a performance coach and instructor. He holds two triathlon championships and was a state, national and world-ranked BMX rider in the late 1980s. Beams is now a contributor to the DMXS Radio Program, Racer X Virtual Trainer and Racer X Online. He has also presented fitness programs at numerous motocross events, including Loretta Lynn's, The World Mini and the US Open.

At RCU, Beams will work predominately with the rider's parents and guests and will provide presentations on strength, endurance, flexibility and nutrition, along with helping a rider prepare for race days. His main focus will be discussion on how to reduce both late-moto fatigue as well as the frequency and severity of injuries.

"I am very excited to have the honor of working with Ricky and MX Sports at this inaugural event," Beams said. "I am going to talk about the frustration of fitness related to motocross and by doing that we hope to fill a void in their training program. We want to make sure these riders aren't over-trained and tired going into their events."

In addition, each rider that attends RCU will get a free three month training program, a $475 value, and three eBooks to help them maintain the program once it is complete. In addition, Beams will also raffle off a week at his training camp at the MotoE headquarters in Orlando, Florida for one lucky participant, as well as a Man and Machine equipped Concept 2 Rowing Machine (a $1,500 value), which is the same machine that is promoted on Racer X Virtual Trainer.
