World Superbike Superpole format for the upcoming 2010 World Superbike season.

Changes to the Superpole format for the 2010 World Superbike season have been announced.
After speaking with the WSBK teams and other consultants, some changes have been made to each of the different classes.
In the Superbike class, the new Superpole format will still include a Superpole 1, 2, 3, but each session length has been altered. Superpole 1 will run for 14 minutes, Superpole 2 will last 12 minutes and Superpole 3 is 10 minutes long. The seven minute break will remain between each session, but the break between Free Practice and the beginning of Superpole has been lengthened to 25 minutes instead of the previous 15 minutes.
For Supersport, an extra qualifying session will be added to Friday at 5:00 p.m., and the start of Sunday's race has been pushed to 1:30 p.m. to accommodate the TV stations' request.
The Superstock 1000 class has also added a qualifying session at 3:00 p.m. on Friday. The Superstock 600 class will race Saturday at 6:00 p.m., with a free practice session and two qualifying sessions.
