
The Yoshimura Team will compete in three rounds of the 2010 World Superbike season.
Team Yoshimura has confirmed that it will compete in three
World Superbike Championship rounds as a Wild-Card entry this year.
The Japanese aftermarket parts manufacturer will race a Yoshimura-kitted
Suzuki GSX-R1000 at the fourth round at Assen, Netherlands on April 25th, the 12th round at Imola, Italy on September 26th, plus the final round at Magny Cours, France on October 3rd.
Suzuki’s long-serving World Superbike rider
Yukio Kagayama, who this season will race in the
British Superbike Championship, has been lined up for Assen and Magny-Cours whilst Yoshimura’s own team regular Daisaku Sakai will compete in Imola.
The team’s Yoshimura Suzuki will also be entered at the Suzuka 8 Hour World Endurance race in Japan on July 25th where Kagayama and Sakai will be joined by Suzuki
MotoGP test and development rider Nobuatsu Aoki, plus the Suzuka 300km race on June 13th.
Entering 2010, after capturing the World Superbike title in 2009, Spies jumps up to race in the MotoGP series full-time alongside fellow Texan Colin Edwards.
