The LTD
Yamaha team pulled a clean sweep of the Daytona SuperSport Race 2 rostrum. Joey Pascarella took the victory, with teammates Jake Gagne and Tomas Puerta scoring a respective second and third. Yesterday’s SuperSport winner, Cameron Beaubier, finished fourth, while Elena Myers was seventh concluding her opening round professional debut aboard the M4
Suzuki.

LTD Yamaha scored a 1-2-3 sweep of the podium with Joey Pascarella taking the top spot.
Pascarella jumped out to the lead early, with the same five that made for an exciting finish in Race 1 keeping tabs on the Yamaha front runner. Puerta, Gagne and Beaubier maintained a steady pace with Pascarella during the opening laps – the front four all within 0.206 at the end of Lap 3.
Mid-race, Beach pulled into the pits with bike troubles. Meanwhile, Myers fell off the pace, along with the second group made up of riders Daniel Guevara and Huntley Nash.
The photo finish from Thursday would not be replicated on Friday, as in the final laps Pascarella opened up a gap to finish more than a second ahead of the rest of the field. Beaubier found himself relegated to fourth with the other LTD Yamahas able to draft by for second and third on the final straight – a reversal of fortune from yesterday.
