J.D. Beach took his fifth win in just six races at Mid-Ohio after her took the double ahead of his teammate Cameron Beaubier.
Rockwall Performance Yamaha’s J.D. Beach continued to excel in Mid-Ohio where he took the double victory ahead of his Yamaha teammate Cameron Beaubier. Taking his fifth win in just six races, Beach now has a commanding lead in East Region championship.
Beach suffered a mediocre start after he nearly jumped the gun in Race 2. In the early half of the race Beach hung back in fourth, but then began picking off riders one by one to make his way towards the front.
Once in the lead Beach encountered pressure from Beaubier. However, Beach’s pace proved to difficult for his teammate to keep up with and in the end it was Beach crossing the line a full 13 seconds ahead with another impressive performance in AMA SuperSport.
Taking third was LTD Racing’s Huntley Nash followed by his teammate, Tomas Puerta, who finished fourth after making his way around Kawasaki’s Dustin Dominguez.
