The CRP Group is now taking reservations for the Energica electric superbike online through PayPal. For just over $600 dollars, interested buyers from all over the world have the opportunity to easily submit their advance registration for the “made-in-Modena,” eco-friendly ride slated to hit markets in 2014.
The Energica was previewed
ahead of the 2012 EICMA show in Milan, and is claimed to have a range near 50 miles when ridden in sport conditions, close to 93 when ridden less aggressively. The bike is said to have a top speed of 130 mph. Additional information provided by Energica PR recently estimates charge time at three-hours with alternating current or less than 30 minutes to 80% of battery capacity when charged with a direct current. The Energica will come outfitted with Brembo brakes, Pirelli Diablo Rosso tires and throttle controls from Domino. Out front a 43mm Marzocchi fork will handle suspension duties, paired with a Sachs rear mono absorber out back. The steering dampener comes courtesy of Sachs as well. It was also announced that the United States and Europe would be some of the first markets to receive delivery of the Energica.
The deposit gives you “the priority for the purchase of Energica,” according to CRP Group PR. For more information go to www.energicasuperbike.com
