The Energica Ego 45 was a big hit at the Top Marques Monaco show, attracting the attention of Prince Albert.
The latest Top Marques Monaco luxury lifestyle show came to a close on 20 April 2014. The event provided the CRP Group with the perfect opportunity to unveil the Energica Ego 45, an exclusive version of its superbike with unique, highly prestigious features that has been created to mark the group’s 45th anniversary.
Right from the start of the event, a number of prominent international figures were welcomed to the CRP exhibition area. Leading the way was Prince Albert, who visited the stand during the opening ceremony to admire the technology and design of the Energica Ego 45. It was an important accolade for the Italian company, which is renowned all over the world for its know-how and the innovation behind every single component of the Energica Ego, including 3D printing, the high-performance Windform materials that are so well known to F1 technical teams, and the ceramic coatings by the British company Zircotec that have been used on this special version of the motorbike.
A number of other big names came to see the stand, including the motorcycling great Loris Capirossi.
The presence of the international press at the event also contributed to the success of the Ego 45’s unveiling.
Energica will now turn its attention to the United States, the great homeland of sustainable transport. There are already countless American advocates of electric transport who have been able to choose sustainable vehicles without making compromises. Indeed, Energica has been called “the Tesla of motorcycles” by the American press! The Energica Ego will head to the United States in July, when the international Where is my EGO Tour of test rides will stop off in five of the nation’s biggest cities.
