Great Review. I just got motorcycle license I'm in Los Angeles and wondering which bikes to get. I'm debating between ninja 250, honda nighthawk 250, suzuki tu250. Not sure if i should go used or new. I'm mostly using to learn on and travel for work on the 105 fwy. What do you recommend? Will this handle the freeway? This bike seem to be price over 4k in California. I called around it like 6k out the door doesn't make sense.

Read lots of reviews, watched this video, bought the TU-250X in July and could not be more pleased. I'm 5'9", 160 lbs, and 54 years. New to cycling and enjoying every moment. Even my seasoned friends love this bike!

Didn't know much about the TU250X, but after watching this review I'm impressed. Great review btw Adam, keep up the good work!
Stu - Buying one  July 9, 2010 08:32 PM
i am buying this bike tomorrow anyone have a comment on how it might do for the occasional long haul. My commute is only 10 miles each way for work, but every once in awhile, two or three times a yr, i go across the state, PA, and it is about a 6 hour ride. would love to take this bike for the trip.

I bought a TU250x two weeks ago and absolutely love it. I'm 6' and 190lbs and this thing is a blast to rip around town in. I've only taken it up to 60 mph so far but it got there easy and handles really well. It is truly a sensational bike. Don't be pressured into buying a 600cc bike - if you are tempted by this bike, just go and get one... GREAT fun and more than enough bike for any beginner or even seasoned riders who are tired of lugging an overweight bike through town.
