With the Washougal round of AMA Motocross set to go tomorrow, it't time for your
Fantasy Motocross Racing hot picks.

Makita Suzuki's Ryan Dungey seems to be an unstoppable force after taking his sixth consecutive win last week at Millville.
450 A Riders
Sure Thing
Ryan Dungey – After capturing his sixth consecutive win last week at Millville, Makita Suzuki’s Ryan Dungey is running away with the season and now has an 89-point lead over Andrew Short in the championship. His record coupled with his top physical conditioning make him the strongest competitor heading into Round 8 at Washougal. If you haven’t used up all your picks yet, Dungey is definitely the top choice for 450 class.
Andrew Short - One rider who’s been proving himself fast out of the gate is Red Bull Honda’s Andrew Short. Taking second overall in last week’s round at Millville and with numerous holeshots throughout the ‘10 season, Short has consistently been near the front during the opening laps but tends to fade rather quickly as the race continues. He’s already had one moto win at Budds Creek this season, and with his good starts he looks in decent shape to take another - perhaps even an overall.
Maybe
Chad Reed - After a dismal seventh round in Minnesota during which he placed 34th overall, Monster Energy Kawasaki’s Chad Reed has been demoted to a ‘Maybe’ at Washougal. With the way his season is going he will be lucky to finish within the top-10, especially after being knocked down to sixth in the championship series from last week’s debacle. Despite his recent upsetting performance, the Australian has occasionally shown promise this season, most notably his performances at Hangtown and Red Bud. For this he still deserves a definite maybe in the upcoming round.
Josh Grant - After finishing second in the first moto at Millville and suffering from heat stroke in Moto 2, JGR Yamaha’s Josh Grant made the best of an otherwise difficult circumstance. He finished sixth overall which, while not outstanding, shows that he is capable of persevering, and his second-place in Moto 1 is evidence that he may still have something up his sleeve for the second half of the championship.

JGR's Josh Grant had a tough second moto at Millville, but he's proven himself time after time so far this season.
450 B Riders
Sure Thing
Ben Townley –At the Millville round Troy Lee Designs’ Ben Townley finished up fifth overall after scoring a strong fourth-place finish in Moto 1. The Honda rider has seen a lot of success this year with a handful of top-three finishes, but has yet to clench his first win of the season. He is currently third in the championship series and trailing Short by just six points, so look for him to put in a strong ride at the Washougal Retro National this weekend.
Maybe
Kyle Regal – Currently eighth in the championship series, American Honda’s Kyle Regal took his highest finish of the season at Millville in third. Prior to that he finished seventh at Red Bud, and so far the young 450 rider has been showing tremendous talent in the ’10 MX season. If he gets a good start there’s a decent chance we could see him earn a win, so make sure to keep an eye out for him in the upcoming round.
250 A Rides
Sure Thing
Christophe Pourcel –Christophe Pourcel has been hot this season to say the least, but at Millville the Frenchman’s performance was a little off as he took fifth overall after finishing 10th in Moto 2. Despite this, the star has taken a moto win in every round of motocross so far this season in addition to numerous overall victories. Like Dungey, if you have any picks left for Pourcel, make sure you add him to your list of winners at Washougal.

Honda's Trey Canard picked up his second overall win this season in the last round at Millville.
Trey Canard – Taking his second overall win in the 250s last week at Millville was Geico Powersports Honda rider Trey Canard. After losing to Pourcel in Moto 1, Canard went on to take a victory in Moto 2 ahead of Dean Wilson and Justin Barcia. With another win this season Canard seems to be gaining ground in his class, and he is definitely a favorite to win in Round 8.
Maybe
Justin Barcia –Canard’s Geico Honda teammate, Justin Barcia, took eighth overall at Millville and is currently sixth in the championship with 201 points. While the Honda rider has experienced some lows this season, he’s also seen tremendous success such as his Moto 1 win at High Point. Regularly a top-five finisher, Barcia can reasonably be counted on to put in a strong ride so keep him in mind when making your picks.
B Riders
Sure Thing
Dean Wilson –Monster Energy Pro Circuit Kawasaki rider Dean Wilson took a solid second-place at Millville last week, and before that he had another second overall finish at Red Bud. It seems that as the season progresses
Wilson’s performance keeps getting better and better, and this is shown in his second-place position in the standings. With 32 points separating Wilson from Pourcel in the lead, look for Wilson to lay it all out this weekend.
Maybe
Blake Wharton – Another rider to have in the crosshairs is Geico Honda’s Blake Wharton. Finishing sixth overall last week at Millville, Wharton has been having an extremely successful season in MX and is currently seventh in the 250 series. If he gets a good start keep your eyes peeled because he could very well take his first moto win of the season.
