Provisional 2011 World Superbike Schedule

World Superbike releases its provisional 2011 schedule, with another visit to the U.S. and Miller Motorsports Park.
World Superbike has announced its provisional 2011 schedule. The SBK series will continue with 13 rounds. The season will start in Phillip Island on February 27th and end at Portimao on October 16th.

The WSB paddock returns to the U.S. at Miller Motorsports Park. The Utah location will once again host the SBK paddock on Memorial Day Weekend, a tradition that event organizers and state government want to make an annual one.

New stops include Motorland Aragon circuit in Spain, with the venue of two more European dates (Round 2 and 11) yet to be determined.

its a big track, not a go cart track like Laguna...

Sep.25 is almost certainly Imola ,Mar.27 says Europe so i'm thinking Valencia..

They need to move the Miller Motorsport event to Barber or even Laguna. I'm not impressed with that track. Lots of dust blowing around, in the middle of nowhere, and the attendance isn't there. I wouldn't be suprised if you saw tumbleweeds too. Barber, or Laguna have a whole other level of what a professional venue is supposed to be.

Boy, would be nice if one of those open dates was at Laguna. Mar 27 would still be kinda cold and I doubt the teams would want to turnaround to back to Europe in a week after the Sep 25th date. But man, wouldn't it be nice Of course I don't even know if Laguna Seca is available those dates...
