Funny how things don’t always work out the way they’re supposed to. The big off-season racing news between 2010 and 2011 was Ducati betting the farm on the greatest motorcycle racer of all time, the incomparable Valentino Rossi. The all-in commitment to MotoGP teamed with the Italian marque’s decision to withdraw its factory might from World SBK.
