Motorcycle-Superstore.com Attack Performance team in the American Superbike class was filling-in for Brammo’s Steve Atlas after he crashed and broke six vertebrae in his back earlier in the weekend. Rapp crashed in the same corner as Atlas (Turn 9) due to an unknown mechanical issue with the motorcycle. Rapp was unable to compete in Sunday’s American Superbike race but expects to be healed in time for the Miller Motorsports round later this month in Utah. Unfortunately he’ll also be unable to test ride during Motorcycle-USA’s upcoming Superbike Shootout.
