Im new to the scooter scene in eastern kansas south of KCK and I feel that a 125 wold be perfect to get to work on and for a new rider to learn on. I understand that in California you couldn't get around on it and would be better off on a 150 or 250 but for someone like me the price and power rating fits plus with my drive from home to work it would be great.

RickRussellTX - Bwah... holes in the lineup  October 20, 2010 04:20 PM
So he totally forgot about the "new" Elite 110 (aka Lead 110), and ignored the complete hole in the lineup between 150cc and 600cc that is just begging to be filled by the SH300i.

Finally Honda got a freaking clue and designed a scooter that looks American, even Japanese. I friggin hate the french bread look of the SH150 and SH300. Great scooter, great value, but Honda screwed up the formula a bit. Here in the USA we need minimum 150cc to safely travel with traffic, why spend all the money to develop an entirely new 125cc? Also they also failed by not offering a 250cc model as well. No offense, but in Japan and Italy the people there are much smaller and lighter than Americans. We need more cc's to move our fat a$$es comfortably and the fact that all scooters over 50cc's need to be plated, have insurance, and the driver needs to have a motorcycle license it limits us to riding in the inner city without the ability to keep up with highway traffic. That can be very frustrating!! An easy solution and a way to cut costs across the board is to stick the SH150 and SH300 motors in this body. That would be a win win. So to sum it up Honda needs to limit USA engine choices to 110, 150, & 300cc. I dont think anybody is really going to complain about there not being a 125. Im sure the aftermarket can make a big bore kit for the 110cc elite to get it to 125cc or better. Please Honda stop making cramped, underpowered vehicles. Didnt you guys learn from the Honda Civic.
CMKB - Honda FAZE?  July 14, 2010 01:54 PM
I was disappointed to see that Honda brought a weaker FAZE over here to the states... We drive fast here in the states. There is no way in hell you can drive a 125cc in Southern California. What were they thinking?
