2016 Ducati Scrambler Sixty2

2016 Ducati Scrambler Sixty2

The Ducati Scrambler Sixty2 model’s 399cc engine alves the regular Scrambler’s 803cc displacement via a 72mm bore and 49mm stroke (compared to 88 x 66mm architecture of the larger bike). The air-cooled Sixty2 retains Ducati’s signature L-Twin configuration. A wet, cable-actuated clutch, six-speed gearbox and chain final drive feed power to the rear wheel. Ducati promises 41 horsepower and 25 lb-ft of torque. These totals follow the same formula as the displacement, more or less, as it halves the standard Scrambler’s claims of 75 horsepower and 50 lb-ft torque. A Kayaba rear shock is adjustable for preload, with both suspension components offering 5.9 inches (150mm) of wheel travel. The 24° rake and 4.4 inches (112mm) of trail also mirror the larger bike, though wheelbase stretches 0.6 inches to 57.5 inches total. The Ducati Scrambler Sixty2 carries over the standard Scrambler’s single-piston and 245mm rotor rear brake setup. A two-channel Bosch ABS system comes as a standard feature.

Ducati promises 41 horsepower and 25 lb-ft of torque from its 2016 Scrambler Sixty2.
