Privateer roadracer Cory West gives us his latest report from Round 9 of the AMA Supersport Championship at Virginia International Raceway in Alton, VA.

West qualified for the FX race in eighth place.

West had to get the go-ahead from AMA officials to run his FX bike in the Supersport race.

West crashed out on Turn 14 during the Supersport qualifying session. West was all right but he banged up the bike pretty bad.

West dusted himself off after his Supersport spill and manned back up for the FX race where he finished in a respectable ninth place.
